Hier haben wir einen weiteren Klassiker der ,,Golden Era of Rock´n Roll‘‘: Eine S-Style ,,Wildcaster‘‘ in Two Tone Sunburst! Achtung, Achtung! Jetzt wird’s richtig wild! Diese Wildcaster wurde nicht geschont. Das Aging könnte man auch als ,, super fucked up über relic‘‘ bezeichnen. Mojo, Mojo und noch mehr Mojo! Mehr Strat im 50’s Style geht nicht! Optik, Haptik und Spielgefühl bilden eine stimmige Einheit. Federleichte 2316g zeigt die Waage an. Das ausgeprägte Aging, ist bis ins letzte Detail durchdacht und aufeinander abgestimmt. Kratzer, Lackrisse, Dings und Dongs, Abriebspuren und freigelegtes Holz geben ihr den Look, der zum Klang und Spielgefühl passt. Subtil soll halt jemand anders machen, hier geht’s ,,wild‘‘ zur Sache. Das Teil sieht aus und fühlt sich an, als wäre es in den letzten 70 Jahren Non-Stop gespielt worden und hätte niemals das Innere eines schützenden Koffers gesehen. Hier passt einfach Alles zusammen. Kein Zentimeter an dieser Gitarre sieht neu aus, vom Nitrolack bis zur Nickelhardware. Du suchst nach Strat-Sound und Feeling auf höchsten Level? Such nicht weiter, Du bist angekommen!
Der schlanke Ahornhals, mit seinem ausgeprägtem ,,V to C‘‘ Halsprofil bietet ein unverwechselbares Spielgefühl. Große wie kleine Hände fühlen sich gleich wie zuhause. Die ,,heavy Rolled Edges‘‘ lassen den Daumen sanft über die Griffbrettkannte gleiten, fette Jumbobünde und der 9,5° Radius laden zu ,,ausgedehnten‘‘( verstehste^^) Bendings ein. Die Halsrückseite ist vom Lack befreit und fühlt sich an, wie sich eine über lange Zeit eingespielte Gitarre anfühlen muss. Schon trocken angespielt fällt ihr akustisches Potenzial auf, es schwingt und singt und resoniert, dass es eine wahre Freude ist. Das handgewickelte ,,54 Tweed Tone‘‘ Set von David Barfuss… einfach der Hammer. Es perlt und schmatzt und bimmelt, dass es eine wahre Freude ist. Die Pickups überzeugen in allen 5 Positionen. Durch das ,,Blender Wiring‘‘, welches den zweiten Tone-Poti durch einen Blender-Poti ersetzt, lassen sich die Pickups untereinander mischen. Der Hals- und Stegtonabnehmer zusammen? Kein Problem, sogar alle drei Pickups gleichzeitig sind möglich. Das Treble Bleed ergänzt diese Vielseitigkeit nochmals und sorgt dafür, dass du selbst beim fast komplett zurück gedrehten Volume-Poti nichts an Höhen und Bässen einbüßen musst. Einfach die Gitarre in den Röhren-Amp einstöpseln, schönen Crunch-Sound einpegeln und bei Bedarf nach Clean-Sounds einfach an der Gitarre runter regeln. Wer braucht da noch Zerrpedale und Booster? Den Puristen gefällt es!

Here we have another classic from the „Golden Era of Rock’n Roll“: A S-Style „Wildcaster“ in Two Tone Sunburst! Attention attention! Now things are getting really wild! This wildcaster was not spared. Aging could also be described as being “super fucked up uber relic”. Mojo, mojo and more mojo! You can’t get more 50’s style Strat! The look, feel playability form a harmonious unit. The scale show a feather-light 2316g. The pronounced aging is thought out and coordinated down to the last detail. Scratches, cracks in the finish, dings and dongs, traces of abrasion and exposed wood give it the look that matches the sound and playability. Someone else should do subtle stuff, this is where things get “wild”. The guitar looks and feels like it has been played non-stop for the last 70 years and has never seen the inside of a protective case. Everything just fits together. Not an inch of this guitar looks new, from the nitro finish to the nickel hardware. Are you looking for s Strat sound and feeling at the highest level? Look no further, you have arrived!
The slim maple neck, with its pronounced “V to C” neck profile, offers a distinctive playing feel. Big and small hands feel right at home. The “heavy rolled edges” allow the thumb to glide gently over the edge of the fingerboard, fat jumbo frets and the 9.5° radius invite extended bends. The back of the neck is free of paint and feels like a guitar that has been played for a long time. Even when played dry, its acoustic potential is noticeable, it swings and sings and resonates so that it is a true joy. The hand-wound “54 Tweed Tone” set by David Barfuss… simply awesome. It bubbles and smacks and jingles that it is a real joy. The pickups impress in all 5 positions. The “Blender Wiring”, which replaces the second tone pot with a blender pot, allows the pickups to be mixed with each other. The neck and bridge pickup together? No problem, you can even use all three pickups at the same time. The treble bleed adds to this versatility and ensures that you don’t have to lose any of the treble and bass even when the volume pot is turned almost completely down. Simply plug the guitar into your tube amp, adjust the level for a nice crunchy sound and, if necessary, simply turn the guitar down for clean sounds. Who needs distortion pedals and boosters anyway? The purists like it!
